In this walkthrough, we will be tackling Alpha Protocol in two and a half playthroughs; a few portions will be replayed in order to eliminate the need for a full third playthrough. The playthroughs can be done in either order, so long as the first playthrough is done as a Recruit on Easy and the second as any class (preferred Veteran) on Hard. The playthroughs will be referred to as the Rising Star playthrough, No Compromise playthrough, and the Crime Buster playthrough, after the endings to expect from each one.
The Rising Star playthrough is the longest, and recommended as the Easy Recruit playthrough. This playthrough focuses on the romance achievements, Thorton, Inc., and Ask Questions First, Shoot Later.
The No Compromise, No Mercy playthrough starts as an offshoot of Rising Star. It focuses on alienating Steven Heck, turning down all romances, Respected Enemies for Marburg, and No Compromise, No Mercy.
The Crime Buster playthrough focuses purely on Judge, Jury, and Executioner and Crime Buster.
If any unrelated achievements have yet to be unlocked, for example the weapons achievements or One With the Shadows, a third playthrough will be required. Do this as a Veteran on Easy.
